eBike Tour

Highlights

  • | Modern Bicycle, with Electric Motor support
  • | Two course lunch
  • | Best cellar doors on the Shiraz trail

If getting out and about in the fresh air is more your style, we will personally pick you up and return you to the Vineyard Retreat for this outdoor experience. Cruising along on high spec e-bikes at up to 25 km/hr, you will enjoy a stunning tour of the Shiraz Trail, stopping off at McLaren Vale’s most iconic wineries such as Wirra Wirra, Primo Estate and Battle of Bosworth.

Not normally available to the general public, you’ll experience Samson Tall‘s working winery, allowing you to learn all about small batch, hand-crafted winemaking.  At Wirra Wirra you’ll take a stroll overlooking the vineyards to learn about bio-dynamic practices and taste some of the regions most famous varietals.

At Red Poles restaurant and art gallery, along with your delicious lunch and glass of premium wine or craft beer, you’ll browse an exclusive indigenous art collection with the owner.

After burning off a few calories down the dedicated bike bath known as the Shiraz Trail, a dedicated staff member at Battle of Bosworth will take you on a sensory journey of their wines, as you look over their vineyards.

Perhaps assisted by the electric motor support, the return trip from Bozzy’s vineyard delivers you back to the clean modernist lines of Primo Estate. Enclosed within the high-spec architecture you’ll learn the history of McLaren Vale’s heritage and quaff the regions best mediterranean inspired wines.

Well done! Now you have earned a good long soak at The Vineyard Retreats hilltop Jacuzzi.
