Coastal Safari

Explore the wild coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula in an intimate and personalised tour. A private charter in luxury Land Rover Discovery, we’ll take a loop of the peninsula, to see the best of the region’s coast, nature, wildlife and indigenous culture.

We’ll start with coffee and pastries at Red Poles restaurant in McLaren Vale, followed by a tour of its celebrated indigenous art gallery. Then enjoy a stunning drive through rolling hills to the mouth of the Murray River, where we’ll go for a walk through the sand dunes at Goolwa to see the famous Coorong estuary system and the Southern Ocean that borders it, enjoying spectacular views.

Fully invigorated, we’ll then visit Fleurieu Distillery to sample a dram of one of it’s world class whiskies, that sell for over $200 per bottle and regarded as some of the finest single malt in the Southern Hemisphere.

Lunch is one of the region’s most iconic seaside diners, the Flying Fish Cafe on the boardwalk at Port Elliot. Enjoy lunch followed by a walk around Port Elliot’s famous granite cliffs with their majestic Southern Ocean views. A short drive later we’re in the holiday town of Victor Harbour to walk to the Bluff lookout, with its 360 degree views across the Fleurieu Peninsula and the Southern Ocean.

Then we’ll drive inland through some of the highest and most beautiful beef cattle country on the Fleurieu, before coasting down the other side of the Peninsula to see views out across to Kangaroo Island. Finish with a  4WD trip down pristine Silver Sands beach.
